About — Jessica Warrick

Hi!

I’m Jessica. I have been an illustrator for about 2 decades and that isn’t alarming to me at all.

I am based in Portland, Oregon, and I draw mostly funny things. In addition to creating print collections, I illustrate children’s books, design wallpaper patterns, write and illustrate comics, and paint ridiculous things.

The enchanting, natural environment of the Pacific Northwest is a huge source of inspiration for my work. People provide a wealth of material too, and help me build the characters I draw and write about.

Some of my work is a hybrid style that uses watercolor texture and digital coloring. My comics and other illustrations are purely digitally drawn using Procreate.
